A Note of Thanks and Support
To all that have made me become a more conscious advocate for our children, I say Thank You. Without your kind words and encouragement, getting through this course would have been a struggle. Just remember that coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success. What success we have shown throughout these eight weeks. Bless you all!

Meaningful ECE Code of Ethics
- Respect the diversity in children, families and colleagues. This is very powerful in that we are all different and bring our own way of learning and teaching to each other. If we can't learn from each other what a monotonous society we would be. We all learn, think and are different and should relish in knowing this.
- To develop relationships of mutual trust and create partnerships with the families we serve. Parents need to know that we love and will treat their children as if they are our own. We have to build this camaraderie with them which establishes faith that we have their child's best interest at heart.
- To establish and maintain relationships of respect, trust, confidentiality, collaboration, and cooperation with co-workers. Being that we are all in this together, how can we not share and collaborate with each other. I trust my co-workers in knowing that we all are providing all that we have so our students will achieve high expectations and goals set for them.
- We shall communicate openly and truthfully about the nature and extent of services we provide. As a Special Education teacher, I am upfront and honest with parents on all matters (performance, behavior, established goals, etc.) and inform them that it is my essential responsibility to provide appropriate educational opportunities to all.
- We shall use individually appropriate assessment strategies including multiple sources of information such as observance, interviews with significant caregivers, formal and informal assessments to determine children's learning styles, strengths, and challenges. I use all the tools available to me to measure the areas that a child is struggling and locate resources to assist in helping them to make gains.

Mahitab Wasfy: Three additional resources
You always enlighten me with your interesting finds. I really like the "Einstein Never Used Flash Cards" in just the fact that as a child I was taught the drill, drill, drill method. But now know that kids need movement and be engaged and able to express themselves freely. Thanks again!
